Setting Up Your LPA is Easier Than You Think
Step 1: Free friendly chat – We discuss your wishes, health and financial priorities, and who you want to appoint as your attorneys.
Step 2: Clear draft prepared – I’ll prepare your LPA documents in plain English, allowing you to review and make any adjustments.
Step 3: Final signing and registration – Once you’re happy, we arrange signing, witnesses, and submission to the Office of the Public Guardian, giving you full peace of mind.
Pricing
Drafting and overseeing applications to the Office of Public Guardian, with the option to write a letter of wishes, guidance for your Attorneys regarding their role relating to your best interests, and what to do with your registered documents. I can act as your certificate provider and witness if required.
There are two LPAs, Finance & Property and Health & Welfare. Each document is £92 to register with the Office of Public Guardian, in addition to my drafting fees (potentially £368 for all four documents), which you pay directly to the OPG. Exemptions may be possible if you are in receipt of certain means tested benefits.
