Will Writing with Care, Compassion & Clarity
A simple, affordable way to protect your loved ones – written by a trusted local sole practitioner in North Somerset.

Why a Will Matters
Writing a Will isn’t just about paperwork – it’s about giving yourself and your family peace of mind. A carefully prepared Will ensures that the people you love are protected, your home and property are taken care of, and your wishes are respected long into the future.
If you have children, a Will allows you to name trusted guardians who will step in and care for them if the unexpected happens. It also helps prevent disputes or uncertainty at what is already a difficult time, making things clearer and easier for those you leave behind.
Most importantly, a Will means your voice is heard. From who inherits your estate to how special possessions are passed on, you remain in control of the decisions that matter most – leaving your loved ones with clarity, guidance and comfort.

Worried It’s Complicated or Costly?
Myth: Wills are expensive
Truth: My pricing is clear and fair.
My pricing is clear, fair and explained upfront. You’ll always know exactly what you’re paying for, with no hidden extras or surprise fees. I believe peace of mind should be affordable, so I keep my costs competitive while still providing a truly personal, professional service.
Myth: It will be full of legal jargon
Truth: I explain everything in plain English.
I write every Will in plain English, so you’ll understand every word. I’ll guide you step by step, explaining anything that seems unclear, and making sure the final document reflects your wishes – not confusing legal language. You’ll always feel in control of the process.
Myth: I don’t need one yet
Truth: If you own a home or have children, you do.
If you own a home, have children, or simply want to make sure your loved ones are cared for, then a Will is already important. Life can be unpredictable, and having a Will in place brings certainty and comfort. It’s about protecting your family today, not waiting until tomorrow.

My Approach: A Local, Caring Sole Practitioner
At Angel Wills, I believe writing a Will should feel personal, supportive and straightforward. You won’t be passed from person to person or asked to explain your story multiple times – you’ll always deal directly with me. I take the time to listen carefully, answer questions in plain English, and make sure you feel fully understood at every step.
Unlike larger, faceless companies, I offer a one-to-one service built on trust and reliability. There are no call centres, no pushy sales tactics, and no hidden extras. Just clear guidance and genuine care from someone who understands that every family situation is unique.
My approach is shaped by my own values as a wife, a mother and a neighbour who looks out for those around me. I know how important it is to feel reassured that your wishes will be respected and your loved ones protected. That’s why my role isn’t simply to prepare a legal document, but to give you peace of mind – delivered with compassion and clarity.
How It Works (3 Simple Steps)
Free friendly chat: Everything starts with a relaxed conversation, either in person or over the phone, where you can share your wishes and ask any questions. There’s no pressure, no rush – just a chance for me to listen and understand what matters most to you.
Clear draft prepared: I’ll then prepare your Will in plain English, avoiding confusing legal jargon. You’ll have the chance to read through it carefully, and I’ll explain every part so you feel confident that it truly reflects your wishes
Final signing: Once you’re completely happy, we’ll finalise your Will with the proper signing. You’ll know it’s legally valid, stored safely, and – most importantly – you’ll have the reassurance that your loved ones are protected and your future plans are secure.

Trust Wills
Property Protective clauses
This very popular Will contains a trust that allows a person to protect their property or each half of their property to avoid the various problems which can occur after the first death. Not least that of "Sideways Disinheritance" - to protect each half of the property for the ultimate preservation of assets for future generations. If you own your home with another person as Joint Tenants, I will also draft severance documents to change to Tenants in Common. The price includes a Land Registry search.

Family Protective clauses
In situations where there are uncertainties about the ultimate beneficiaries of a Will, it can be helpful to include a Discretionary Trust. Examples of those uncertainties would be beneficiaries that are vulnerable due to a physical or mental disability, alcohol, drug or gambling addiction, unstable relationships and other such issues that might make you wary of providing an outright gift.
